Alexander Scott

Biography: Alex is a second year graduate student at UC Riverside.  He has a BA in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Humanities from Soka University of America. His research interests include global political economy, Neo-Marxism, social movements, postcolonial studies, labor studies, and critical race theory, with a regional focus in Latin America and the Southwestern United States. He has spent time living, studying, and traveling throughout South America, and hosts a podcast for Latin American Perspectives, a theoretical and scholarly journal for discussion and debate on the political economy of capitalism, imperialism, and socialism in the Americas.
