Linda Brewster Stearns
Linda B Sterns engages in research at the intersection of Economic Sociology, Political Economy, Organizational Sociology and Social Movements. She has published widely on a range of topics that include patterns of borrowing by U.S. firms, mergers and acquisitions in the U.S., environmental social movements, patterns of interlocking directorates among U.S. firms, and racial and ethnic segregation in the U.S. labor market. Her published work appears in some of the highest rated disciplinary outlets in both sociology and management, including the American Sociological Review, Social Problems, Administrative Science Quarterly and the Academy of Management Journal, among many others.
