Biography:
Rebecca Giem's research examines the links between inequalities between nations and inequalities within nations, particularly gender inequalities within nations. Currently, she is using a world-systems perspective to explain the wide variation in domestic violence rates between countries. Future work involves the analysis of cross-national data on wage inequalities between women and men.
