Biography:
Kate Luther's research focuses on incarcerated women. Specifically, she is interested in the issue of motherhood in prison. Her previous research on this topic concentrated on the experiences of incarcerated women involved in a prison nursery program. In the future, she hopes to also study battered women who are incarcerated for killing their abusers.
