Biography:

I am currently at work on two main projects. The first project examines changes in undergraduate general education requirements at American colleges and universities from 1975 to 2000. The second project is an ethnography outlining the processes of improvisational humor engagement and humor accomplishment within a small friendship group of retired men in a semi-urban, corner donut shop. I hold general interests in theory, interdisciplinarity in higher education, humor, phenomenology, rock and roll, and globalization.
