Frances Vu

Race and Class Inequality; Gender

Biography:
Frances is currently examining Asian American faculty in the social sciences in order to enhance our understanding of their participation in higher education outside of the science and engineering areas. Specifically, she is studying workplace satisfaction issues for Asian American faculty in U.S. institutions of higher education. She is also interested in investigating: a) their socialization to workplace expectations, b) the construction of networks between Asian faculty, and c) their perceptions of white faculty.
